The Road Goes Ever On And On. . . .

Okay, I have no idea how to do an introduction to this post, so I’m just going to go ahead and start this rambling thing.

Blogging has been awesome.

I’m just going to say that now.

Realizing that there are other people – people I’ve never met in my life – who are reading what you are writing is so incredibly cool.

But. . . .

While WordPress has been great, most (read: all) of the blogs that have inspired me, all of the blogs that I want to follow, are on Blogger. And while it is possible to follow people on Blogger using WordPress, it’s kind of pointless for me to be on WordPress when every blog I want to follow is on Blogger.

I’m not stopping blogging. I’m just going to use a different blog.

(If you’re really curious, you can find me at http://www.legendofawriter.blogspot.com. But I’m not going to be using this pen name, so Cosima is staying here.)

But, as Bilbo put it:

The road goes ever on and on,
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the road has gone,
And I must follow if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

(Yes, I did just devote that much time to LOTR poetry. I will not apologize)

My road is changing right now, and I am following it.

I’ll probably keep this blog up for a while. I’ve got a lot of unfinished drafts that I want to put into the new blog, and just in case the new one doesn’t work out, I’ll need a backup. Also, there are still WordPress blogs I still want to follow.

But for now . . . I guess this is it for this platform.

THANK YOU to everyone who took a chance on my fledgling blog and me. You guys are literally what kept me blogging, even when I didn’t feel like it.

So . . . .

Signing off, probably for the last time,

(Side note: I might change my username on here too. Just a warning.)
