My Five Favorite KEEPER Characters (or, My Celebration of KOTLC Fandom Day!)

It’s here, everyone.

The day we’ve all been waiting for is finally here.

It’s . . . .

*cue major squealing*

Last year, I wrote a blog post about this day, and talked about the write-your-team-name-on-your-hand thing you can do. But after the permanent-marker fiasco of last year, I’m going to celebrate it a little differently this year, by listing:

My Top Five Favorite KOTLC Characters!!!

Contains major Nightfall spoilers!!

(I’ll start at the bottom and work my way up.)

5. Marella Redek

Placing fifth on my favorite character list is good old Marella. If it weren’t for Nightfall, she wouldn’t be on this list at all, but ever since she manifested as a Pyrokinetic, she officially turned awesome. All I want now is for her to become a larger part of the story.

4. Keefe Sencen

For some reason, I’m always drawn to those conflicted, hurting characters, and Keefe fits this description amazingly. It was probably because of him and the character numbers #s 2 & 3 that made Neverseen, Lodestar, and Nightfall so incredible for me. (But why, Keefe???? Why did you have to go to the Neverseen???)

3. Linh Song

Ever since I was introduced to them in Neverseen, the Song twins have always held a special place in my heart. Linh’s ability is so amazingly awesome (as Fitz and Dex could tell you in a heartbeat), but it’s her calm, cheerful, observant personality that I love the most. Plus, the fact that she’s extremely close to . . .

2. Tam Song

Yep, both the Songs have earned their place on my top five. I love Tam mainly because his personality is so different from his sister, and he’s insanely awesome. (He can read people’s shadowvapor! How cool is that?)

1. Sophie Foster

And, of course, this list wouldn’t be complete without my all-time favorite character, Sophie. She is one of the most relatable characters that I have ever read about. (Well, except for the you’re-an-elf-with-all-these-freaky-abilities-and-you-have-to-save-the-world part of her life.) Plus, she’s just plain awesome!

And there you have it: my five favorite KOTLC characters. Happy KOTLC Fandom Day!

How did you celebrate KOTLC Fandom Day? What are your top favorite characters?
